No Limits is a participatory live art experience for adults which frames the audience as artists, critiquing exclusionary ideas of creativity in contemporary society. This multilayered space of socially-focused creative exploration features a spectacular central experience in which audiences collaborate to create a monumental abstract painting, by turning their entire body into a paintbrush and soaring across a giant canvas on a zipwire.

Drawing upon the action painting of Carolee Schneemann and Jackson Pollock, the cultural criticism of Bob and Roberta Smith and François Matarasso, the participatory approach of Tania Brughera, and the creativity theory of Hélio Oiticica and others, No Limits challenges the old-fashioned elitist view of the artist as the solitary creative genius, and ask how we can break free of the myths of the past to empower the creativities of the future.

This striking visual feast will fill spaces with an explosion of colour and joy, and an unforgettable parade of flying artists.

No Limits is a work in development, supported by Factory International, Somerset House, Woolwich Works and Arts Council England.
